Buffalo That Set New Tourist Flipping Record Wearing An Official Award Now

“Big Hank,” the now-famous Yellowstone buffalo, has officially set a park record after flipping a tourist an impressive 21 feet into the air earlier this week.

In recognition of his athletic achievement, rangers presented Big Hank with a handcrafted leather necklace featuring a shiny medal engraved with the words: “Flight School Instructor of the Year.”

Tourists are said to be keeping a safer distance, though a few were spotted trying to get autographs from the newly decorated local legend.

I was shocked to see the news about Grizzly 399 yesterday.

Back in 2019, I took a trip to Grand Teton National Park and Yellowstone National Park, and was introduced to this amazing mama bear.

Then, in 2020, she brought out the quads, and in a dark season, she and her cubs were a bright light of hope and joy.

She even had a PBS documentary about her...

I had been working on this new design about her... but the news of her passing inspired me to finish it up.
