✝️ In Loving Memory of Timothy Bridges ✝️
It’s with the deepest sorrow that I share the passing of my husband, Timothy David Bridges — a man whose mind, heart, and faith left a mark on everyone who knew him.
Tim was more than his work — he was a visionary, a builder of ideas, a seeker of truth. Many knew him through the oil and gas industry, as the founder of 3rd Party People, or from his thought-provoking Optimum Ideation Podcast on YouTube — where he created space for deep conversations about innovation, truth, and the human spirit. He was a proud Sam Houston State University alumnus, a brother of Delta Tau Delta, and a friend to countless people whose lives were better for knowing him.
But to me, and to our children, he was so much more.
He was my greatest encourager, the one who saw my potential long before I saw it myself. When I started TGC Fashion (Trust God Claudia), it was Tim who helped me shape it. He loved to joke that he should take credit for the “TGC,” and I let him — because he was right. He was there at every turn — brainstorming ideas, pushing me to stay consistent, reminding me to “put that on LinkedIn!” when I hesitated to share my work. He also managed all FB marketing, if you are here on this page, it’s because of him.
He believed in showing up — not for attention, but for purpose. He reminded me that faith and discipline were the real algorithms of life. Even when I was tired or afraid, he found ways to lift me up — picking up packages for returns, handling small details, always helping in quiet, thoughtful ways.
His legacy is not just in the companies he built or the podcast he created — it’s in the people he inspired, the family he loved, and the dreams he helped bring to life. He taught me that no success is worth your peace, and no job is worth your soul.
He left this world on a comeback — as the man he always wanted to be: strong, faithful, providing, and full of purpose.
A Celebration of Life for Tim will be held at Strickland Funeral Home in Somerville, Texas, on Friday at 11 a.m. Family and close friends are invited to honor the life of a man whose voice, faith, and ideas will never fade.
