Insect frass (A.K.A. bug p**p) is an amazing garden fertilizer!!

There are many ways to use frass fertilizer: as a soil amendment, a top dressing, as a foliar spray, in a compost tea, or in a hydroponic system - instructions are on the bag 🙌

Mystery Garden Critter shows us why you should eat loofah gourds when they're small and not so fibrous 😅

Immature gourds taste a little like cucumber or zucchini depending on your palette, and the established plants tolerate the summer heat quite well without very much watering.

The fibrous innards of mature loofah gourds make excellent bath or kitchen sponges and are 💯 biodegradable/compostable 👍And they're VERY prolific so there will be many to process by the end of the season 🫠

Bath sponge for breakfast, anyone? 😬 Guess you could skip flossing 🤷‍♀️🤣
