Being a new mom is tough with sleepless nights and new responsibilities, but here's the good news: self-care is vital and doesn't have to be complex!
I used to feel guilty about self-care due to my traditional upbringing where sacrifice was the norm. But over time, I've realized its importance, HENCE why I discuss it here so often! ๐
Research by the National Council for Mental Wellbeing shows self-care boosts self-confidence by 64% and happiness by 71%! So, it's crucial for your well-being and being the best for your little ones.
For me, self-care means date nights (even at home) with my partner, time in the backyard, or my skincare routine. Small things like a long shower, foot soak or a drink with a friend can help too. It's about finding joy and recharging. โจ
New parenthood can be overwhelming, but self-care is essential for your well-being. Prioritize it and don't hesitate to ask for help. A happy mom makes a happy family! ๐โโ๏ธ
