She used fashion as a political language, turning clothes into manifestos and style into a statement. I deeply admire her not only for what she created, but for how she lived: coherent, rebellious, cultured, never tamed.

La moda non è lusso. È linguaggio. È libertà
Mi alzo la mattina e mi vesto come mi va.
Nessun piano, nessuna regola — solo me. Veramente certe volte ci penso la sera prima di addormentarmi. Così la mattina perdo meno tempo.
Vecchio pantalone di Ganni, maglione di lana dipinto da me,
le mie “catene” (solo quelle vere),
scarpe di — scovata qui a Madrid.
Mi diverto ancora, sì.
Ognuno libero.
Alla fine la moda è un gioco,
serve per esprimerci, non per dimostrare.
Non deve essere costosa — ma etica sì,
anche se costa fatica. ♠️

Forse scriviamo sui vestiti perché non osiamo più urlare.
Le frasi ricamate, dipinte, cucite — sono la nostra voce alternativa.
Ogni lettera diventa un atto di coraggio, una forma di protesta gentile.
Non parliamo, ma lasciamo che siano i vestiti a farlo per noi.
Perché oggi le parole vengono usate, manipolate, svuotate.
Io invece le voglio tenere addosso, farle mie.
Che restino autentiche, non strumentalizzate.
Scriverle sul tessuto è come sigillarle nel cuore:
non per gridare, ma per resistere.
Venerdì, che settimana faticosa.
