Alexenia was founded in 2010 by Ksania Lerner, an HCC Fashion Design graduate and a veteran Design Assistant at Dao Chloe Dao in Houston TX. Born in Ukraine & raised in Israel, this Houston based designer has a worldwide perspective on fashion. The label started by creating custom made clothing for special occasions, and expanded into selling pieces at Lot 8 Boutique in Rice Village & Happy Clothe

In Fall 2012, an additional line was launched- and that is of whimsical home goods, including aprons, towels, pillows and curtains etc. started as a holiday gift special, and kept on going parallel to the design. The label is based on the designers’ passion for various arts, music, world travel and the desire to create exciting colorful play with interesting pattern work.
