When one mother cries, we all join her in sorrow. There’s a profound grief that brings you to your knees, a grief that steals your breath and makes time stand still. Yet, amidst this darkness, a promise holds strong. We all need unwavering encouragement and a generous dose of hope. The flooding of Camp Mystic, Hunt, Kerrville, and Kerr County has left us all shaken and bewildered. It feels surreal, unimaginable, and unthinkable.
The Hill Country is in despair, struggling to find words to describe the unimaginable suffering. In the face of such extraordinary loss, we’ve acted with heavy hearts and willing hands, doing our best to support the devastated area. Casey and I wanted to offer something to help, so we created these items for you to purchase.
We’re not making a profit from this sale; instead, 100% of the sales will be donated directly to the Kerr County Flood Relief Fund, a 501(c)(3) Community Foundation of the Texas Hill Country. This organization is committed to directing funds to vetted organizations that provide rescue, relief, and recovery efforts, as well as flood assistance.
We hope these pieces serve as both symbols of remembrance and reminders to continue praying. They also offer tangible hope in Jesus, as Hebrews 6:19 reminds us, “We have this hope as an anchor for the soul.”
