Meet the man behind the brand.
I'm Kaleb N. Elijah, founder of Lake+Prosper.
People often ask me what Lake+Prosper stands for.
The answer is people.
I believe purpose matters.
I believe authenticity matters.
I believe success means very little if it costs you your identity.
Lake+Prosper was built on the belief that people deserve to be seen, celebrated, and reminded of their value.
As a Black man, affirming Black culture means everything to me. Our history is one of resilience, creativity, innovation, faith, excellence, and community. So many of our stories have been overlooked, diluted, or erased. I wanted to build a brand that celebrates us unapologetically.
Not just our struggle.
Our brilliance.
Our beauty.
Our joy.
Our impact.
Women's empowerment is deeply personal to me as well. I was raised by strong women and shaped by women whose strength, wisdom, and sacrifice often went unrecognized. Many of the messages you see throughout this brand are rooted in honoring the women who continue to lead, nurture, create, and carry so much.
Inclusion is also a core value of Lake+Prosper.
I believe Black q***r creatives deserve spaces where they can show up fully, create boldly, and be celebrated for who they are. Some of the most gifted, innovative, and culture-shifting voices in our community have spent years being told they were too much, not enough, or didn't belong.
I reject that.
This brand was never intended to create more boxes.
It was created to remind people that they already have value.
No matter their background.
No matter their story.
No matter who they are.
At its core, Lake+Prosper is for the dreamers, the builders, the creatives, the believers, and the people finding the courage to be themselves in a world that often rewards performance over authenticity.
Because I believe you don't have to become someone else to prosper.
You can honor where you came from.
You can embrace who you are.
And you can still build an extraordinary life.
