Last month we made our annual trip down to Venice, LA with my son and his buddies...and somehow the fishing seems to get better every year!

We caught all the 80-100lb yellowfin we could handle, some mahi, and limits of red snapper and cobia. And that was day 1.

Day 2 we went after swordfish and were rewarded with a monster 275lb sword, plus more snapper and a bonus wahoo. Oh...and some bonus inshore fishing on day 1, with a pile of reds, trout and drum in just a few hours of fishing.

Many thanks to our captains Eddie Burger and Aaron Wilmouth with Fish Venice Charters - two of the very best in the business.
