I have a little favor to ask. 🤍

If you've been following our farmhouse and small business journey, first of all... thank you. Your support has meant more than you'll ever know.

Starting and growing a small business isn't always easy. Like so many families, we've made sacrifices to chase this dream, and living on one income while building a business has definitely come with its challenges. But through it all, we've trusted that God has a plan, even when the path hasn't been easy.

Recently, I've decided to start creating UGC (User Generated Content) for brands. It's something I've truly fallen in love with because it allows me to use my creativity while also helping Anthony and me create additional opportunities for our future. The best part is that everything I'm learning also helps us grow our own business.

One of the biggest milestones brands look for is reaching 1,000 followers, and that's the goal we're working toward right now.

My faith is the foundation of everything I do, and I'm incredibly grateful for the freedoms we've been blessed with. Today, I'm thankful for the men and women who have sacrificed so much so we can worship freely, raise our families, and live in this beautiful country.

May we never take those blessings for granted. Let's continue to pray for our nation, our leaders, our military, our first responders, and for God's hand to remain over America.

As seasons change, sometimes so do priorities. 🤍

Beginning this July, Michigan Southern Charm will be closed on Sundays.

This wasn't a business decision—it was a family decision.

The truth is, Anthony is currently working mandatory six-day weeks, and we've realized how precious our time together truly is. In this season of life, we're choosing to protect one day each week to rest, worship, and simply be together as a family.

God set aside a day of rest, and we're choosing to honor that. We believe there's value in slowing down, being present with the people we love, and trusting that God will take care of the rest.

Running a small business often means long hours, sacrifices, and wearing every hat imaginable. But lately, God has been reminding us that success isn't measured only by how much we accomplish—it's also found in the moments we share around the dinner table, the conversations we have without rushing, and the memories we make with those we love most.

This is the season we're in, and we're embracing it with grateful hearts.

Thank you for always supporting our small business and for giving us the grace to spend this time with our family. We can't wait to welcome you into the shop Tuesday through Saturday and continue serving this amazing community.

Thank you for understanding, for supporting our dream, and for reminding us that community is so much more than business.

Two years ago, we unlocked the doors to Michigan Southern Charm with a dream, a whole lot of faith, and the belief that if God called us to it, He would carry us through it.

Looking back, I can see His fingerprints all over this story—not just over the last two years, but all the way back to when I was a little girl. Long before I ever imagined owning a storefront, God was planting dreams in my heart, teaching me to trust Him, and writing a story only He could write.

There have been moments of uncertainty, long days, financial struggles, and prayers whispered when no one else knew. But through every season, God has been faithful. Every open door, every customer who has walked through ours, every friendship, every prayer, every blessing has been another reminder that this was never our story alone.

As Gabby Barrett says, "God's got a plan even if you ain't in on it." And isn't that the truth?

Today, as we celebrate our 2nd Birthday, we're celebrating so much more than a business. We're celebrating God's faithfulness.

Thank you to every person who has supported Michigan Southern Charm, prayed for us, shared our posts, shopped small, and believed in this dream. You have become part of our story, and we are forever grateful.

If our journey has taught us anything, it's this: trust God, even when you can't see the whole picture. His plans are always greater than our own.

So today, lift up your hands and put an AMEN on it. 🤍🙏🏽🙌🏽

Four years ago, I married my best friend. 🙏🏽❤️

To know Anthony is to love him, and I am so grateful that God gave me the privilege of being his wife. He is a God-loving, caring, hardworking man who supports me in everything I do and never stops cheering me on. I truly wouldn’t be where I am today without his love, encouragement, and God’s faithfulness beside us every step of the way.

Thank you for loving me so well, for believing in me, and for always being my biggest supporter.

Today, we’re spending our anniversary in different states and I’m in one of our favorite places, but even from afar, God continues to remind me how blessed I am by the life we’re building together.

Thank you for the sweet notes you tuck into my bags for me to find when I least expect them. Those little reminders of your love mean more than you know.
