In Seattle at Pike Place Market when I see these beautiful up-cycled quilt bags! I knew I had to have one. They are so well made and we love supporting other makers! What a treasure! Go check them out on their insta! Pochette (fna City Kid Style)

This baby quilt was so special to me! Elle was Cash’s first (and only) babysitter until he was 3. They had a bond like no other! He grew up in the gym and at the ballpark cheering her on in volleyball and softball. Elle became part of our family 🤍

Now, she’s having a little boy of her own and we couldn’t be more excited for her! She’s going to be the best mom! 💙

Donna Maurer’s beautiful Tulip quilt! The soft pastels, the sweet tulips, and that piano key border - it’s all just so good!! 🥰

Happy 4th of July, America!! I can’t stop smiling about our little town’s celebration last weekend 🥰🧨

This picture captured yesterday perfectly. I enjoyed being part of our little parade SO much! Let me tell you why…

In recent years I have sat on the sidewalks and watched our parade - it is always so much fun because you tend to know everyone. Everyone on every float. Everyone on the sidewalks. It’s community. It’s HOME. But, I found myself wishing we had more participation in the parade. More floats, more creativity, heck - more candy thrown for the kids 😂

Then, I had a realization. I needed to be a part of the solution!! Mom and I own a business - and we could enter in the parade! Did I have thoughts of “who would want to see quilts in a parade”… sure. But guess what? I ignored those thoughts and we DID it!

And we had the BEST time! Seeing all the kids run for candy from the sidewalks is fun, but seeing their faces from our float?? Now that is something truly special!! THANK YOU Inman for being such a great hometown for us! We wouldn’t have it any other way!

And yes, we will be in future parades. Yesterday’s joy was the best medicine and I cannot wait for next year! We already have ideas on how to make the float better and showcase different quilts each year!
