Purls from the Heart Serving children and adults in need of physical and emotional support.

In 2005, Purls from the Heart was founded by three women (Beverly Cicchese, Brenda Cicchese and Deanne Moscrop) who love to crochet and knit. It did not take much research to realize the incredible need for handmade items to comfort people going through tough times. Items we make and give away at no cost to the recipients are:

Prayer Shawls
Prayer Scarves
SIDS Blankets
Baby Blankets and Booties
H

ats / Scarves / Mittens (infant - adult)
Tied Fleece Blankets
Items for JoyJars for the Jessie Rees Foundation

Basically, if you can make it, we can find a home for it! These items go to individuals, hospitals, nursing homes, homeless shelters and to other organizations who then distribute them. Recipients of the above items are anybody going through a difficult time - doesn't have to be health related.
