Mrs. Jones: Her Side of the Story by B.M. Hardin was a quick, entertaining read!

It was short, straight to the point, and definitely kept my attention. I do wish some of the backstories and characters had been developed a little more, but overall I enjoyed it!

This absolutely gave Mr. & Mrs. Smith vibes the entire time!

The Janes by B.M. Hardin was GOOD. 📚

This was one of those books that pulls you in immediately and keeps you flipping pages trying to figure out what is really going on!

Fast-paced, entertaining, full of drama, secrets, twists, and just enough “wait WHAT?!” moments to keep me hooked the entire time. The writing flowed so well and the story never felt slow.

And can we talk about this premise?! A community where every woman has the same name? Yeah… I was locked in immediately!

Definitely one I’d recommend if you enjoy suspenseful reads that keep you invested from beginning to end.

📖 A Familiar Stranger by A.R. Torre

I officially finished this one and gave it ⭐️⭐️⭐️ (3 stars).

Honestly, it started off super slow for me and was a little confusing at first. It finally picked up around the 30% mark, but it definitely left me with a LOT of questions by the end 👀

The twists kept me interested, though, and I already know we’re going to have plenty to discuss.

I just finished We Don’t Talk About Carol by Kristen Berry and WOW, what a great read! I was completely hooked from start to finish and could not put it down. The mystery surrounding Aunt Carol had me turning pages nonstop, and the powerful focus on missing Black girls, paired with the main character’s determination to give them a voice, made this story even more impactful. Every chapter pulled me in deeper. Safe to say, I’ve officially found a new favorite author!
