Corey Ertz has been making clothes since he was 16. His love of history led him to begin making some of the best and most unique museum grade clothing on the market back in 2003. When illness began limiting his ability to sew, his love of history and creative drive led him to find other outlets for all that energy and he began first building, then designing historical paper models. As with all thi

ngs, the illness began to pass, and Corey's Tradingpost is his re-entry into the world of historical commerce that he has such a gift for. Join the journey as he brings to life the clothing and machines from the 1700s all the way up to WWII. And my placket is done. I continued on with my stitching almost like quilting, to secure all layers. I will still anchor the slit with something like a bar tack. The heavy duty placket and bar tack bottom is how the shirts at Colonian Williamsburg are done, and I think they look pretty good. This shirt is coming along nicely, with only a little drunk monkey stitching and no blood spilled. Yet.
