Hyleco: https://www.etsy.com/shop/HydeLeatherCompany Hello everyone ... Welcome to our page! We're a handmade little girls clothing and accessories line. All pieces are designed and produced by me, Jessica Franklin-Jackson, Fashion Design / Illustration graduate from the Art Institute of Dallas. Since graduating in 2000,

I’ve worked with numerous high end collections over the years and hope to bring my eye for style/design to my own collection. Through my work I’ve developed a great appreciation for quality and design, and I’m lucky to have had 15 years experience merchandising and styling for some of the top designers. Being a mother of three I know how important quality is when buying children’s clothing. With that in mind each piece is made on an individual basis ... this way you can be sure your getting a one of kind piece that a lot of love went into producing. Being that each item is a one of a kind ... there may be very slight nuances that which may differ from piece to piece, which I believe adds to the uniqueness of our London Grey apparel and accessories line. My style is a little bit vintage and a little bit modern. I like to combine the two using more modern designs and vintage fabrics or vice versa. London Grey is a collection inspired by my own little girl, London Grey Jackson. It’s my intention for this collection to be a whimsical fun flirty line for little girls. Not too serious, but for girls who love to twirl and pick flowers and play make believe! Nothing makes me smile more than to see my sweet babies playing and giggling! I hope our collection can bring happiness to your little girls as well! Take care and treasure each moment you have with your own little ones, for they are only babies for a little while. Feel free to contact us via telephone at 214-455-3900 or you can also reach us via email at [email protected]. Custom by request ... always handmade =)

I Accidentally Bought the Wrong Canvas… And It Might Be My Next Painting!

Have you ever gone to the store for one thing and somehow left with something completely different?

That’s exactly what happened to me! I stopped by Hobby Lobby to pick up a replacement canvas for my next painting… but I accidentally grabbed one much larger than I intended.

After the initial surprise, I couldn’t help but laugh. Sometimes our best creative ideas begin with an unexpected detour.

While I was there, I also took a moment to reflect on my peony painting. It’s amazing to see how far it’s come. Every layer has brought more depth, color, and life to the canvas, and now it’s finally entering those last exciting stages before it’s complete.

As a multimedia artist, fashion designer, and leather worker, I’ve learned that creativity rarely follows a perfect plan—and honestly, I wouldn’t have it any other way.

Thank you for following along on this journey. Your encouragement means the world and allows me to continue sharing my passion for creating.

Life has a funny way of bringing us back to where we started.

I went to art school to study fashion design and visual merchandising, even though my heart had always been drawn to painting. Looking back, I can see that every lesson, every late night, and every project helped shape the artist I am today.

Now those skills are coming full circle as I recreate one of my favorite DÔEN slip dresses by hand. It’s a reminder that no creative experience is ever wasted. Every skill we learn becomes another tool we can use to bring new ideas to life.

Thank you for following along on this journey as I continue exploring painting, fashion design, leatherwork, and everything in between. Your support allows me to keep creating and sharing the work I love.

Every artist needs a supervisor.

Meet Mocha—my full-time studio assistant and part-time quality control.

She keeps me company through every brushstroke, and honestly, the studio wouldn’t be the same without her.
