What am I celebrating? The end of 2023 bridal season and the start of 2024 bridal season! I had my final dress pickup of the year yesterday and today I had the first consultation for next year.

🚨IMPORTANT SHOP ANNOUNCEMENT🚨

I have some bittersweet news! After LOTS of thinking and praying I have made the decision to switch things up with my business offerings.

Starting in 2024 I will be focusing on bridal and formal gown alterations only. I’ll be moving away from regular clothes alterations and custom sewing. I’ll still be offering sewing machine repair if my schedule allows.

This isn’t a decision I came to lightly (or quickly). I know by doing this I’ll be unable to serve a lot of you and in a way I’ll be starting at square one. My business was built on regular clothes alterations and you have all been so wonderful! I would still love to have you follow along with my business and I’ll still rely on your referrals and shares.

I know it can be hard to find a seamstress so please reach out to me. I’d be happy to provide you with names of people who you can contact to see if they are a good fit for what you are needing.

This month I’ll be finishing the items in my queue then taking a break for the holidays. I’ll be limiting the amount of items I’m taking in this month. I’ll be working in January to get everything ready and I’ll start seeing bridal and formal clients in February. (I’ve been in communication with a few of you about custom sewing projects starting next year. Don’t worry, you’re still on the books! 😁)

I’ll be posting more information in the coming days so keep an eye out for that!

Here’s a sneak peek at Rebecca and Will’s wedding!

Rebecca had a vision for her dress that made it truly unique and one of a kind! We swapped out the zipper for a corset and added the custom tulle and lace sleeves. I also made adjustments to the bust and side seams.

I can’t wait to see more photos from C'est La Vie Photography and Boutique!
