We are excited to kick off another year of Garfield County 4-H Shooting Sports, and we invite everyone who is interested to come learn more about the program and how to get involved! 🍀

📍 Basement of the Old Ambulance Barn

Whether you're a returning member, brand new to shooting sports, or just curious about what the project has to offer, ALL ARE WELCOME!

🎯 What to expect at our first meeting:
- Get signed up for the 2026–2027 Shooting Sports project.
- Meet our shooting sports leaders.
- Learn about the project, expectations, equipment, and upcoming activities.
- Ask questions and get all the information you need for the year ahead!

📣 Following our kickoff meeting, we plan to meet every Tuesday! Our first few gatherings will focus on getting everyone organized, preparing the range, and making sure members are comfortable with their equipment so we can have a safe, fun, and successful shooting sports season!

🍀 Montana 4-H Shooting Sports is open to youth ages 9 and older as of October 1st. No previous shooting experience is necessary!

We are looking forward to welcoming back our returning members and seeing some new faces this year!

🍀💚 Putting our hands to larger service! 💚🍀

During National 4-H Week, Garfield County 4-H members visited several community members’ homes to lend a hand with fall yard work and help them prepare for winter! 🍂🏡 One club even had the opportunity to learn how to save seeds, a fun way to learn while giving back! 🌱

We want to thank our community once again for your continued support of our youth and the Garfield County 4-H program. We are beyond grateful for the encouragement, generosity, and opportunities you provide our members! 💚

A special THANK YOU to Paige Stanton with Community Connections for helping connect our clubs with these individuals. Your help made these service opportunities possible! 🤝

🍀💚 It’s Thankful Thursday during National 4-H Week! 💚🍀

Garfield County 4-H wouldn’t be what it is without our wonderful volunteers, leaders, families, buyers, sponsors, and community supporters. Thank you for showing up, cheering on our members, and helping them learn and grow!

Today, we encourage our members to write a card, send a message, or personally thank someone who has supported their 4-H journey. A little gratitude can go a long way! ✉️💚

🍀 Congratulations to our Garfield County 4-H Livestock Judging Members! 🍀

A big congratulations to our 4-H members who traveled to Sidney yesterday to compete in the Keith Steinbeisser Memorial Livestock Judging Contest! 🐂🐑🐖

We are so proud of you for representing Garfield County 4-H and continuing to build your livestock judging skills! Judging is such a great way to learn more about livestock, practice decision-making, build confidence, and meet other 4-H members along the way. 💚

👏 Way to represent Garfield County! We can’t wait to see what this judging season brings!
