Wishing all of our Garfield County 4-H members a wonderful first day back to school! We hope your year is filled with new adventures, lots of learning, great friendships, and plenty of fun! 🌟

We also want to wish a very special Happy First Day to all of our amazing 4-H volunteers who are teachers or work in our schools! 💚 Your dedication to our youth goes far beyond 4-H, and we are so thankful for the time, encouragement, and heart you give to kids both in and out of the classroom. 🍀

As another Garfield County Fair comes to a close, we simply cannot say THANK YOU enough!

To every volunteer, parent, leader, judge, sponsor, buyer, community member, and helping hand who stepped up this week — THANK YOU! It truly takes a village to make fair week happen, and we are incredibly fortunate to have such an amazing community standing behind our 4-H program. 🫶

To everyone who came out to watch a show, cheer from the sidelines, lend a hand, purchase at the sale, sponsor an award, or simply encourage one of our members — thank you for supporting our youth. Your support means more than you know, and it is a huge part of what makes 4-H and our county fair so special. 💚

And to our 4-H members — CONGRATULATIONS! 🎉🍀 We are so proud of each and every one of you. Fair week is about so much more than ribbons and banners. It represents months of hard work, early mornings, late nights, lessons learned, challenges overcome, and memories made. You should be incredibly proud of everything you accomplished!

There are so many people who work behind the scenes to make this week possible, and we could never name them all. Please know that we see you, we appreciate you, and we could not do this without you.

🚨 IMPORTANT REMINDERS:

📸 All 4-H members are required to attend the county picture Wednesday at 12:30 p.m.

⏰ All market animals MUST be checked in and weighed by their assigned deadline. Please review the schedule carefully!

🧁 The 4-H Bake Sale will take place immediately following the Market Beef Show on Friday. Stop by the 4-H Building for some delicious treats while supporting our members!

💚 Come cheer on our hardworking 4-H members, support our local youth, and enjoy everything the Garfield County Fair has to offer!

🍀🎉 FAIR WEEK IS ALMOST HERE! 🎉🍀

We have several fun events planned at the Garfield County Fairgrounds, and we hope you’ll join us in supporting our hardworking 4-H members!

📅 THURSDAY, AUGUST 6

🍔 Community BBQ | 5:00 PM
Bring your favorite side dish and enjoy an evening with our wonderful community! A special thank-you to Garfield County Bank for cooking the burgers and supporting our youth!

🐮 Livestock Judging Contest | 6:00 PM
Everyone is welcome to test their livestock judging skills!

• Youth participate FREE
• Adults: $10 entry fee
• Cash payout—half of the entry pot goes to the winners, and the other half supports the Livestock Judging Fund
• Buckles will be awarded to the top junior and senior 4-H members!

📅 FRIDAY, AUGUST 7

🧁 4-H Bake Sale
Stop by the 4-H Bake Sale and pick up some delicious homemade treats while supporting our local 4-H program!

🤠 Adult Showmanship
Adult Showmanship will take place following the 4-H show for each livestock species!

• Nominate any adult age 18 or older for $5
• Don’t want to enter the ring? It costs $10 to back out!
• Watch out—you can be nominated again!
• All money raised supports the Garfield County 4-H program

🍀 Cloverbud Parade | 9:45 AM
Come cheer on our youngest 4-H members as they parade through the show ring before the livestock sale!

🏆 Champions Parade | Prior to the 4-H Sale
Help us celebrate the best of the best! Join us as we recognize the champion animals and the dedicated 4-H members behind them.

🐄 4-H Livestock Sale | 10:00 AM
Support our hardworking 4-H members and the livestock projects they have worked on throughout the year!

Come enjoy great food, friendly competition, plenty of laughs, and the opportunity to support our incredible local youth. We can’t wait to see everyone at the fairgrounds! 💚🍀

🐾 Calling All Garfield County Cloverbuds! 🐾

Join us for a fun-filled Cloverbud meeting on June 18 at 4:00 PM at the Garfield County Meeting Room!

This month we'll be learning all about pets and pet health, and we have a special guest, a veterinarian joining us to teach us how to keep our furry, feathered, and fluffy friends happy and healthy! 🐶🐱🐰🐹

This is sure to be an exciting afternoon full of learning, activities, and fun. We can't wait to see all of our Cloverbuds there!

Due to the rainy weather forecast, County Days has been moved indoors!

All events will still take place as scheduled, including Demonstrations, Illustrated Talks, Public Speaking, Career Communications, and Cloverbud Pledge Presentations.
