✨ Childhood Collective invites you to our new and exclusive series! Join this 9 part series to receive support, connection, and compensation! ✨

Support Circle is a monthly, counselor facilitated group of Childcare Administrators and Managers that aims to offer a safe and supportive space to connect around issues commonly experienced in this field of work.
The emphasis is on mutual support, storytelling, and collective problem-solving. The Circle is less about “training” (though educational content may be introduced and resources shared) and more about holding space for community, resilience, and healing in the midst of professional challenges.

Participants will be compensated for their attendance. Meetings will take place in person at our office, 3200 Hospital Drive, and online as applicable.
Sessions will take place on the Third Tuesday of the Month, beginning October 21 with closing reflection and celebration June 16, 5:30 - 7:30 pm. Monthly Attendance is strongly encouraged.

🌱 Financial support is available through SEED, housed and managed by thread. Applicants must be working in a licensed child care facility and have an active SEED membership to qualify. Applications are available at www.threadalaska.org/seed/forms.

💵 Professional Development Reimbursement (PDR) reimburses 100% of the cost of registration. Applications must be submitted within 60 business days of event completion.

✈️ Travel Reimbursements are available to reimburse 100% of airfare and lodging costs up to $1000 annually. Applications must be submitted at least 21 days prior to travel using actual or estimated expense costs.

Hello Folks!
I’m sad to say due to various other projects, I am unable to make the Annual JCC Winter Market.
It is always so much fun for me to create these Enriching Sensory Kits and to meet and chat with you all about engaging children where they’re at in their play based learning.
I am still operating Yes! LLC in other capacities and deciding the future for “Playful Learning.” I will hope to see you all in the future bringing the best effort and experiences to Early Childhood Development!

Yes! LLC with SEA-AEYC is looking to hear from Juneau Families, (Mothers, Fathers, Foster Parents, Adoptive Parents, Step Parents, Grandparents, Guardians, etc), about their experiences living and raising children in our community. We invite you to join a 90 minute listening session scheduled for this summer. The insight gathered from these listening sessions will support the development and funding of family resources and programs! 🙌

To compensate you for your time, we will gift each participant a $50 gift card to our local IGA stores! Additionally, dinner is provided, and childcare is available upon request!
