I spent the last week doing a little different kind of adventure than my normal ocean adventure. I visited Katmai National Park & Preserve and stayed at Brooks Lodge for 4 full days. It was amazing to see so many bears in the wild of this National Park. Here is a very small portion of my adventure.

I have been offline all week exploring something a little different than the usual ocean vibes. My journey took me to Katmai National Park & Preserve where I stayed at Brooks Lodge for 4 full days and explored the majestic brown bears of Alaska. Here is a SMALL sampling of what I saw.

I started this adventure doing jewelry. I still love doing it so much, I have just built up inventory so I don’t do many “behind the scenes” videos of it because I don’t make it very often these days. Best sellers are still the ocean vibe resin earrings.

I was recently asked for a line sheet of all the items I make for a local retailer to carry my items. So this is a video of all the things I have created using resin and Hawaiian tumbled glass. I forget how many things I have created in just a few months.

Hands down one of my favorite sea creatures is the sea otter 🦦. I mean I REALLY love them. I’ve been fortunate to volunteer as a diver in their habitat at the Oregon Zoo but never spent much time with them in the wild. Seeing dozens of them floating around while in a glacier cruise in Alaska was a definite highlight. I just want to cuddle them, too bad they can be jerks from what I understand.

I seek out salt water everywhere I go and so far this trip is no different. Enjoy this lovely whale that I spotted on a wildlife and glacier cruise outside of Anchorage, Alaska. Funny enough, these whales also spend their winters in Hawai’i. Have you ever seen a whale in real life? Every time it brings me so much joy.
