An update on my participation in the The Kritíq Fashion Show
I want to let everyone who has been following my journey know that I will no longer be participating in the Kritiq Fashion Show on August 30.
After a series of issues surrounding the production and communication of the show, Kritiq ultimately made the decision to remove my collection from the lineup. I did not voluntarily withdraw from the show, and I made every effort to find a resolution that would allow me to present the collection and fulfill the commitment I made to my models, team, and supporters.
I’m incredibly disappointed after the time, money, and work I—and my models and creative team—put into preparing for this opportunity. Most of all, I’m sorry to everyone who purchased tickets and made plans to support me.
I’m grateful that my participation fee has been refunded, and I’ll be redirecting this energy into a dedicated photoshoot so these looks can still be properly documented.
