This memorial header change hurts my Geeky heart SO much.
Everyone who knows me, knows how much Transformers means to me. It's always been my favorite fandom, for over 40 years, so to have to memorialize someone I grew up watching, listening to his iconic voice for nearly my entire life- it hits HARD.
He told us forty years ago, "Do Not Grieve."
But how can you not when he left such an impact on our lives?
"Fate rarely calls upon us at a time of our choosing." But he was chosen today and he has truly gone to be one with the matrix now.
He has left us here to carry on what he taught us as a leader that instilled compassion, integrity, honor and loyalty- that Freedom is the Right of All Sentient Beings, Be Strong Enough To Be Gentle, The Future is Built on Dreams so Hang on To Them, and never back down from what you believe in.
There will never be another Optimus Prime.
I might be a Decepticon, but even Decepticons bow their heads and take a knee today and pay our respects in honor of the One True Prime.
Thank you Peter Cullen, for bringing our larger-than-life hero to life.
