Lucas J's Cards and Classes Lucas J’s started as a way to honor my grandsons memory. It has changed and evolved over the years.

I teach make and take classes as well as donating a few hundred handmade cards every year to children in foster care and seniors who are in care homes.

This is wiggles!! good friend Jackie rescued her from a pet store. She had neurological issues. Thus the name Wiggles. Wiggles had several good years with her companions and Jackie. She passed away recently. I made this card for Jackie when she passed. Wiggles will always be remembered as a sweet little girl🩷. Rest in peace Wiggles 😇

The cards none of us like to make. I think it’s important to let those we love know we are thinking of them. This card was for a dear friend who has suffered a lot of loss in the last year. Dasher was the sweetest little guy. Always a smile on his face. And can we just acknowledge those adorable teefs 😍. Rest in Peace sweet boy 😇

Every year I make card kits for my daughter’s students. They get a different card each month to make and keep or send to someone important in their lives. It helps my daughter out as a new teacher but more important are the things the students learn.
They practice and put their handwriting skills to good use. They learn hand eye coordination. They learn to think of others.
They stand tall and feel proud of the beautiful cards they make for those important people in their lives.
The memories are the best part for me. The excitement that shows on the students faces and the pride they have in what they create makes it all worth it for me❤️
