A perfect example of when preparation meets opportunity!
Yesterday morning, I was asked if I could fill in for a vendor who wouldn’t be able to make it for a makers market later that night. It was at a spot I thought would be rad to vend at when I inquired 6 months ago.
For the first time I was able to say yes because I actually have enough inventory to just say yes. That took time to build. I am very proud of myself as it’s me who’s funding this dream.
When you buy a candle from Lovinity, from me. You are literally supporting and helping with the dream I have of changing the trajectory of my life, for me and my kids. That’s friggin big. You’re helping support a single mom, who’s doing her best to support her kids in all of the ways that they deserve. While trying to remember to take care of myself in the midst of keeping the lights on. It’s not easy, and most days feel like defeat or overwhelm.
One thing I know, is that I keep dreaming and having faith even on the days I don’t wanna. I keep going because everything is possible. It’s the little wins, the little victories, like building up my inventory enough to be able to say yes to a last minute event invite.
