and cotton lining. The smallest size fits my iPhone 14 Pro.

Since I had several comments about the purple saddle blanket tote bag, I thought I’d share the actual custom work that I did in spring.

I didn’t photograph the inside, but it has a quilted lining with center zipper pocket divider.

Something to note about hand woven textiles is that they cannot just be cut and sewn like other fabrics or the yarns unravel. A lot of extra steps are involved to protect the edges and keep structural seams from pulling the woven material apart.

I’ve had a new bag design in my head for a while. I have to discipline myself to finish projects before starting new one...

Unfinished bags on the work bench today. Some just need fringe cut and straps. The small bags will be available for holiday gifts!
