Peaceful Designs has a new home!

After several years in a traditional shop location, I’ve moved the business to Buck Creek, just outside Lafayette near Hershey Elementary and right off the Hoosier Heartland.

My garage has been completely finished and converted into a full sewing and quilting shop, and I’m really excited about this next chapter. I’ll once again be doing the majority of the quilting and embroidery myself, which I’m especially happy about.

I’ll still be offering all of the same services, including longarm quilting, T-shirt and memory quilts, embroidery, custom tote bags, custom tshirts, custom sewing, alterations and repairs, barn quilts, laser-cut and engraved projects, and more.

I’ll also continue offering sewing classes and creative workshops in both Buck Creek and Lafayette as well as traveling to your location.

Local drop-offs and pickups will now be by appointment, either at the Buck Creek shop or at my Lafayette appointment location. If you normally ship quilts to me, message me for my new shipping address.

I’m really looking forward to getting settled into the new space and spending more of my time quilting, sewing, teaching, and creating again.

Thank you so much to everyone who has supported Peaceful Designs since 2018. I’m excited to see what comes next!

Important Shop Update

Beginning Monday, August 24, we will be temporarily closed while we focus on getting the Purdue Marching Band uniforms ready for their first game!

After September 1, we will reopen for intakes and pickups by appointment only.

We are also in the process of moving our shop to Buck Creek. Going forward, our work will be done from our new Buck Creek location, but we will still have a Lafayette location available for scheduled appointments.

We know this is a big change, and we truly appreciate your patience and support as we make this transition. We’re still here, still sewing, and still happy to help with your quilting, alteration, and sewing needs. The biggest difference is that visits will now be by appointment rather than regular walk-in hours.

I have posted sewing classes for Monday's in July. Classes are open to ages 8+. These are project classes.
Classes are from 9am-12pm at 2500 Glick St.

Looking for something fun for the kids to do this Saturday?
Our Kids craft parties are a great way to spend the afternoon. This month, we will be making birdhouses or fairy houses. They are already assembled and ready to decorate. Made of weatherproof materials, they can be hung outdoors or used for indoor decor.
