Once regarded as arguably the best pound for pound fighter, Roman Gonzalez “Chocolatito” is back in the ring this weekend to extend his already hall of fame career. The former four-weight world champion is looking to bounce back after being narrowly edged against Estrada in what many are calling fight of the year in 2021. This is an interesting match up as Julio Cesar Martinez failed to make weight on two separate attempts Friday night. Even though Martinez was the smaller man moving up in weight he will come in weighing more than Gonzalez. Will the weight difference be a challenge for either fighter? What are your thoughts?

We don’t have to say much more on this one. Just a couple of elite fighters that have a serious need to fight each other. Both are extremely talented, tough as nails, and passionate about wanting to kick each other’s ass. Who wouldn’t want to see this? Tonight they get their chance to THROWDOWN. Let’s all thank and the guys at the UFC for making this happen.

Who do you have on this one? Are you rooting for the guy that you are betting on?

We think Colby will probably come out on top but wouldn’t be surprised or disappointed to see Jorge’s hand raised.

Do you miss your outdoor workouts?

We like outdoor workouts because they give us a chance to get out of the office and get some of that natural sunlight. On top of getting your dose of vitamin D, an outdoor workout does a better job of relieving stress and improving your mood. We also think training in the environment you perform in is essential to be ready to Throwdown.

Outdoor workouts in the winter are a bit tougher. When you live in a cold climate it can get a little more than uncomfortable to hold on to that bar that is literally freezing. Even the pull up bar in the garage can cause a little more pain than normal. Rather than worry about losing your grip because of cold grab a nice pair of workout gloves. (We are partial to our Stealth Training Gloves for this.)

A couple of other go to pieces of equipment for an outdoor workout anytime of year are the kettlebell and slam ball. Both are extremely versatile and travel well if you don’t mind the weight. If you don’t have a good place to run grab a jump rope.

Tonight is UFC Fight Night 199. Some say Chris Daukaus has the technical skills to be a problem Derrick Lewis. We think Derrick is going to show up ready to THROWDOWN! The betting line has Chis favored but its hard to bet against the Black Beast.
We are also looking forward to see 39 fight veteran Cub Swanson take on Darren Elkins. Should be a good fight.
