1️⃣ We added a caramel brown option to our staple forest green.
2️⃣ Our edges are rounded, so no bent corners!
3️⃣ We kept linen but chose a sturdier fabric to avoid dirt.
4️⃣ Our calendar week starts on Sunday.
5️⃣ We added a space for collections - books we want to read, bucket list items, etc.

On the feast of Sts. Anne & Joachim, Grandparents’ Day, we’re giving thanks for the generous love of our grandparents whose fidelity to God’s plan for marriage started a ripple effect of over 17 kids and 60+ grandchildren combined.

We’re also praying for our parents who are now grandparents of growing families! 💛

On the feast of St. Mary Magdalene, we keep thinking about how much Our Lord loved her and vice versa. How he appeared to her as the Apostle to the Apostles, being the first one of the twelve to know that he was risen because she spent time with him - even after he had died and was laying in the tomb. She must have been an incredible friend to her friends!

So many times it’s easy to check off friendship with a coffee date or phone call. But when we really go deep is when we’re able to spend quality time together, to truly rest. No rush. A concrete way we’ve been working to do this is by opening our homes, which takes vulnerability (and cleaning!) but allows ourselves to be known. To serve. To give without asking of the other. And to leave them knowing that they are loved.
