Today is the start of the Elate Quilt Along. 🥳 I’m kicking things off with a new version that I made for a wedding gift. I talk about this one and the other versions that I’ve made, as well as plenty of other Elate-related stuff on my blog. It’s all linked in my profile. 💚

The quilting is one of my Sessoms motifs with Totally Quilted . I love how it looks with this design! It is quilted using my BERNINA USA Q24 quilting machine. ✨

New Memento shirt just in time for my event. 💚Helen's Closet Ashton Top was a fun sew, and it has been a delight to wear today. It’s made up in my new Memento fabric. I think it will be a great top to make in all kinds of fabric.

I modified it to button up the front. I like the chunky buttons but realize I need to have more big buttons in my stash!

It’s Quilt Along time! Who wants to join me? The Elate Quilt Along schedule and other details are now up on my blog (and linked in profile). We’ll start next week and continue through September.

I think this will be the perfect project to sew as we settle into the second half of the year. I’ve already made four Elate quilts, and I still have ideas to try out in more versions. To me that’s the sign of a good sew, after you finish one, you’re wanting to start another. ✂️✨
