I know I haven’t posted much lately. I’ve been dealing with some joint pain and fatigue on top of being generally busy. I’ve also been working on deciding on a direction for this endeavor. I’m at a plateau and I need to figure out if I should move forward or pursue something else. This may take me a minute. But I’m not forgetting my Kitten fans, don’t worry. I’ll try to figure things out soon. Thanks for being patient with me and always supporting me. I truly appreciate it. 💜💜💜

As I searched through many pictures trying to figure out which one to show you all, this one rang true for me today. I remember working on this as I was recovering from my bowel surgery and wondering what the future would hold for me.
After visiting the doctor, he confirmed I’m in clinical remission. I haven’t been in remission for eight very long and painful years. But I was depressed because I still wasn’t feeling healthy. I wanted to feel the benefits. And this week I do. It brings a tear to my eye even writing this because I can’t believe I feel good today. It’s such a foreign feeling and something I’d like to hold on to for as long as I can.
So this picture with the tape marks of my iv still present on my skin show me exactly what I’ve conquered and it feels so good to be healthy. I hope this offers perspective to anyone suffering that this was only a few short months ago and now I’m here. 😊😊

Only a few rows left on my . Unfortunately right in time to find out that my has returned. I will continue to fight and try to show you guys some beautiful things. I can’t seem to capture the sparkle in this yarn but it’s definitely there and it’s gorgeous with this pattern. I love the gradient here and it works really well with this easy to follow pattern.
On a personal note, I’ve been away to attend my cousin’s funeral this weekend. It was so hard to say goodbye and see the pain in all the people he was close to. But the showing of love was overwhelming and beautiful. I had lost my crojo a little this week but now that Kyle is at rest, it’s time to heal. My heart goes out to all my family who have a long road to travel to attain peace. I’m going to head home and hug my Bug and my Roy and try to be more like Kyle.

I’m spending Memorial Day with family and grateful for my freedoms today to those who made the ultimate sacrifice. I hope one day our nation can live up to the weight of that sacrifice. Rest in heavenly peace.

Hey Kitten fans! So sorry this is so very late. We’ve had some real tragedies happen in my family recently. And I’ve had a little health trouble as well. But this one is in the books. Thanks to your wonderful suggestions, I matched the Swarovski crystals with the cream beads and it looks AMAZING!! To my own mom. My Ma. It’s been really fun watching you be a Nana. It has healed past hurts and brought us closer together. And we know we’ll stay that way because of these sweet girls and their love. It binds us eternally even more than were before. We laugh and cry and bond over these girls like no other. I’m glad to be learning how to be a mom with you at my side. You’ve always represented to me what a strong, badass, independent, take no s**t woman looks like and you still look good ma! Lol. I love you and we had a blast at Mother’s Day Eve last night. I hope you enjoy your day! Bug and I love you dearly and are very happy to have you in our lives in such a major way!
