Nobody tells you the carrier decision doesn’t have to be a guess, that you can actually try things on, feel what works, and know exactly what to register for instead of picking blind off a list. That’s the kind of clarity we build every Carrier Clarity session around: helping you decide which carriers actually deserve a spot on your registry, tried and felt on your own body first. If owning a carrier automatically meant knowing how to use it…the moms with a closet full of wraps, buckles, and ring slings— all still in the box, all still googled at 2AM— would all have it figured out by now.

But they don’t.

And I think we need to stop telling ourselves that the answer to feeling confident with the carrier you already bought is simply:

Watch one more video.

There is a ceiling to what a tutorial can show you.
There is a ceiling to what a review can tell you about your body, your baby, your carrier.

––→> But there isn’t a ceiling on what changes when someone actually adjusts it on you.

At some point, the question has to change from:

“What else can I watch?”

to:

“Who can actually show me how to use what I already have?”

That’s what a Carrier Setup Session is for.

It's way more than just trying on carriers.

Know someone due in January or February?

Hi! 👋 I’m Kelsey. I’ve spent the last year helping families around Metro Detroit, Ann Arbor, and Lansing find baby carriers that actually get used, not just registered for and forgotten. (I still have two of my own I never touched.)

I got into this the slow way: taught myself babywearing over two years, helped a stranger fix her wrap at a carrier swap, and realized how much confusion is out there. Now I’m CBWS certified and do this full time.

Here’s the thing about timing: 14 to 22 weeks is genuinely the sweet spot to figure out a carrier. Moms are comfortable enough to try things on, but not so far along that most carriers stop fitting, so it’s the one window where you can actually test before you commit to a registry item.

If you know someone due in Jan/Feb, I’d love an introduction. I do private, in-home sessions. No group class, no pressure, just figuring out what will work for her.

Share this with your friend who is building their postpartum village!

I was reading this book the other day and noticed that Babywearing Educators weren't listed as providers you should have lined up for the postpartum period. And while I truly believe we should be a part of your prenatal team, a LOT of moms find me in the postpartum period when babywearing feels off.

As a babywearing educator, I teach you how to do more than just click a buckle.

I respectfully come into your home and calmly, patiently, judgement free, I walk you through how to use the baby carriers you own. You leave:
✨ knowing exactly what to do, every time you clip her in
✨ carrying with confidence instead of second-guessing yourself
✨ a go-to person for every carrier question that comes up later

I help postpartum families in Metro Detroit, Ann Arbor, and Lansing, Michigan through Carrier Setup sessions. You can book yours anytime through my link in bio.

I can't wait to be part of your village ❤️
