Speaking of things to do: protect your peace by moving away from people who threaten your tranquility. It seeking tranquility is not an option, try lowering your tolerance to stress. I've come to understand that worrying about things that we cannot change is an inordinate waste of time and emotions. Focus on the things you control and you will be able to improve your happiness.

Now that I have your attention, can we consider the numerous ways we are different to rats... well at least the way that we have been led to belive matters most? The fact that we have higher ordered thinking would suggest that we have a choice as to how we interact with our devices. Phones can be tools for good, but nothing can replace being an active participant in the analog world. Likewise, thinking about others rather than leading with ego fuels our peace and and turbocharged our happiness.

Challenge: Put down your phone and do something impactful for someone.

Imitation is about replicating what we see and hear. Our social environment dictates the streams of information and mentalities we encounter on a daily basis. If we want to do better, choose people and surroundings that reflect our better self. If you want more joy, spend time with people who are happier. Life is not easy, but choosing our friends and social network is. Maybe a change is in order for you. Your peace and happiness will thank you.

Yesterday, I did a search for new technology for men and was disappointed that none of the gadgets moved me in the least. I suppose it could be that the new technology is boring or maybe I have too many devices already. Or maybe I've reached saturation with being sold repackaged ideas of convenience masquerading as invention. Maybe I'm just more interested in more analog experience. Better still, maybe I need more analog interactions. Perhaps this is why I got so much satisfaction from watching my son mow the lawn for the 2nd time. Do yourself a favor... slow life down today. Your peace and happiness will thank you!

The middle class has been under assault for decades and this decline has been exacerbated by hyperconsumerism and the unrelenting focus on status by any means necessary. Folks have been bombarded with the idea that their happiness can be achieved by purchasing more and more stuff. Or perhaps joy will be achieved by living in the "right" neighborhood or by driving the top-of-the-line car. All of this is an illusion. Happiness is only achieved internally and projected externally, not the other way around. Breaking free of this cycle can be difficult but it is a worthwhile investment especially if you are burdened by anxiety and worry about the day-to-day of life. More money = different problems, not More money = no problems.

For the life of me, I can't understand why these robots all have bi-pedal movement? Its almost as if no one has asked was is the most practical means for these devices to navigate in non-military theaters? George Jetson's robot, "Rosie" had wheels. This simple switch would allow them to focus on applications to assist or aid their target customers. This personification of the robots is strange and unnecessary. Besides, given how expensive these things will be, the only market that makes sense is for the military.

Whether you're Jimmy Fang, DDS or Phil Pipes, plumber, choosing a career is no easy choice. Helping young people navigate the ever-changing landscape of career choices in the age of AI seems to get more difficult with each passing day. Here is an idea: suggest that people think about two things, (1) what they are good at, and (2) what makes them happy. If life is going to be difficult no matter what you do, at least you should be happy in an occupation that brings you personal satisfaction and they types of interactions that my you feel good about yourself, or your community, or humanity.
