Ghassan Kanafani is considered one of the most influential Palestinian writers of his generation. But he wasn't just a novelist. He was a journalist, intellectual, and political thinker who believed stories could preserve a people's memory long after cities fell and borders changed. His writings were often about ordinary people carrying exile, loss, hope, and dignity through impossible circumstances.

Decades after his death, his words are still read across the world, not because everyone agrees with his politics, but because his writing captured what it means to lose a homeland and refuse to let its memory disappear.

A Hirbawi is basically a multi-tool you wear. It can shield your face from dust, sun, wind, and cold, serve as a head covering in harsh weather, wrap around your neck for warmth, cushion your shoulders while carrying a load, act as a towel, improvised bandage in an emergency, and even become a makeshift bag when needed. Woven for endurance rather than fashion alone, it's a piece of everyday wear that has earned its place through generations of practical use.

From major capitals to small towns, millions have gathered in streets, campuses, and public squares, carrying Palestinian flags and black-and-white as symbols of solidarity.
Whether through marches, vigils, or silent gatherings, people from different countries, languages, and backgrounds show a shared desire to stand with Palestinians and justice. Together, these images document one of the most widespread international solidarity movements of recent years.
The kufiya, woven for generations in , has went from a traditional garment into a recognizable symbol of identity, colonial resistance, and solidarity; its familiar pattern appearing wherever people chose to make their support visible.

War has devastated Palestinian sport. According to the Palestinian Football Association, more than 800 athletes and sports officials have been killed since the bombardment began. The victims include more than 400 football players. Nearly half of them were children.

Among those who lost their lives includes former Palestinian international footballer, Suleiman al-Obaid. He died while waiting for humanitarian aid.
It is also reported that around 90 percent of Gaza's sports infrastructure has been damaged or destroyed. This includes football stadiums, training grounds, gyms, and the headquarters of the Palestinian Football Association.

For many people in Gaza, sport is no longer a priority. Constant bombardment, repeated displacement, and the growing risk of starvation have forced organized sport to almost completely stop across much of the territory.

The often-repeated myth that Palestine was an “empty land” collapses under basic historical evidence. These 1945 footages reveal a lived-in, working society — a reminder that Palestine was in fact one of the most densely populated regions of the Near East, with a developing urban economy, a flourishing agricultural land, and relatively high literacy levels.
