Only 79% of kids in the United States has received preventive dental care in the last year, according to 2015-2016 data. Highest and lowest percentages are reported for Vermont (87%), and Florida (71%), respectively. In Nevada, 77% of kids has received preventive dental care.

In 2015-2016, 6% of children lived in communities perceived unsafe by their parents. Rates dip to a low of 2% in North Dakota and Minnesota and climb five times higher, 10% in California and New York. Rate for Nevada is 9%.
