After going to Cester County, I called a dear friend of mine who is a liazon for BYU I and Family Search. She put me I contact with Family Search and they sent out these two amazing people to count the documents to see if it would be a good project to digitize. These two amazing people made their 4th working trip to Chester Court House to search for and count records for Family Search from the 1700's to 1920. The document count is a little over 200,000 and they are not done! They use aprons from home because of all the dust. There aren't tables or outlets so they bring a TV tray to set the computer on and a 50' foot electrical cord. I am hopeful that Family Search will take on this project and digitize Chester County! I am so excited that this might happen!!

I love going to cemeteries! It’s always good to see how far they are from other relatives and who else is buried there. I always contact the church or city to ask for records because often headstones are missing. Find a Grave is also an amazing resource!

Last September I went to Denver and took a Fundamentals Of Investigative Genetic Genealogy through Florida International University . I solved a cold case( it had already been solved) but I came to the same conclusion the Denver PD did. I had so much fun taking this class! Joan Hanlon and Mitch Morrisey are the best! Highly suggest this class!

Went to Chester County South Carolina Courthouse to find records. There was so much to go through that I ran out of time! Their records go back to the early 1700s!
