✨ Student Spotlight ✨

I had the honor of watching one of my early Sew Simple Sewing students, , present her collection at Kansas City Fashion Week!

Campbell, you are amazing. The craftsmanship, the precision, the cohesion of every look… it all carried such incredible energy. You could see the hours, the late nights, and the dedication stitched into every piece, especially those beautiful quilted details.

It was so fun hearing people in the crowd say, “I would buy that!” to look after look.

As instructors, we can give students the tools and teach the techniques, but watching them take those skills and soar on their own is the greatest gift.

And a big shoutout to her parents. Behind every young creative chasing big dreams is a family cheering them on and supporting the journey.

Seeing her step into this space as a designer and a young woman pursuing her craft was something really special. We are all so proud of you, Campbell, and can’t wait to see where your creativity takes you next. 🧵✨

Moments like this remind us that when creativity is nurtured early, incredible things can grow from it.
