YOU MATTER. 💙
Those two words carry a whole different meaning when su***de has touched your life personally.
Our lives have been forever affected by su***de. We lost Xavier, and we also lost our friend Matt, a retired Air Force veteran and most recently Malaki. These losses have made us realize even more how important it is to talk about su***de prevention and remind people that they are loved, needed and valued.
When you lose someone this way, “you matter” becomes so much more than a saying. You wish they could have seen themselves through the eyes of everyone who loved them. You wish they could have known just how deeply their absence would be felt.
That’s what was on my heart while stitching these sweatshirts.
YOU MATTER.
You matter to your family.
You matter to your friends.
You matter on the good days and the really hard ones.
You matter even when your mind is telling you otherwise.
This message also holds a special place in our hearts for our military members and veterans. So many carry battles that the people around them may never see.
And while Xavier and Matt are part of our story, these sweatshirts aren’t just in memory of them.
If you’ve lost someone to su***de, this is in memory of your person, too. 💙
Wear their memory. Share the message. Maybe someone who sees those two simple words on your sweatshirt will be reminded at exactly the moment they need it most:
You matter. Please stay.
We are looking at partnering with a local organization so that a portion of each sweatshirt sold can help support mental health and su***de prevention right here in our community.
If you or someone you love is struggling, call or text 988. Veterans and service members can call 988 and press 1 to reach the Veterans Crisis Line.
