During the Utah 2023 General season buck hunt I was fortunate to take this unique 4 point & I just got him back & hung up. It was a fun hunt with a crazy ending, I shot this buck on the rifle hunt but it had a 5" long piece of a carbon arrow shaft with fletchings still on it embedded in its skull just below the eyes. I don't know how this buck lived like this & makes me feel a lot better about taking him because he had to be miserable. The taxidermist said it had to have been there for over a year because of the growth around the shaft. Thanks to Phil at in Provo, Utah for doing a great job with the mount.

At "High Caliber Gear and Apparel", we are a small family owned business. We hunt, we fish, we are gun & shooting enthusiasts & we love the great outdoors! We have had a successful hunting season so far this year with two mule deer taken & tagged during the Utah general season deer hunt & one family member filling his limited entry bull elk tag with a massive bull elk. Congrats to all those successful hunters out there who were able to harvest an animal. And remember, getting a trophy animal or meat to put in the freezer is only part of it, the experience, the memories & the friends & family you shared it with is the greatest part. "Live For The Hunt" is our slogan for a reason. Enjoy & cherish those experiences, memories & moments because that is what really matters!

We would like to apologize for our long absence, we have been revamping "High Caliber Gear and Apparel". We have been designing new ideas, logos & products & we are working on a new online store & website. We hope to have them up & going very soon, we appreciate all our followers for sticking with us & look forward to interacting with all of you in the near future.
