Five stars honestly isn’t enough for Topsail Tire & Auto Topsail

We were on a little RV getaway when disaster struck — a completely shredded tire that could have ended our trip right there on the side of the road. Instead, Ross stayed late to make sure we were taken care of and safely back on the road, literally saving our vacation.

What makes it even more meaningful is that my husband Scott is about to undergo double knee surgery himself, and this trip was important to us before life slows down for a while. Ross didn’t rush us, didn’t act inconvenienced, and treated us with genuine kindness and professionalism from start to finish.

You can still find good people in this world, and this business is proof of that.

Ever feel like the algorithm has decided you’re too spicy for basic visibility?
Same.

Apparently I can be served ads for things that would get me arrested in three states… but talking about very old, very legal, very shiny metal people have traded for thousands of years is a “risk.” Cool cool cool.

So let’s try this another way.

On that page we own (you know, the one where we help seniors responsibly rehome the things they no longer need), we’ve been quietly watching some interesting trends:

✨ The yellow shiny stuff recently crossed $4,000
✨ The bright shiny stuff hit $62 per ounce this morning

For perspective:
When we started this little venture back in July, those numbers were closer to $3,000 and $32.

Fun historical tidbit:
👉 Six U.S. quarters dated before 1964 = about one ounce of the bright shiny metal
(Not a troy ounce — but still very real, very tangible value.)

Moral of the story?
Maybe check your change jar.
Maybe consider owning something you can actually hold in your hands instead of watching numbers flicker on a screen.
