Many of you know that I have semi-retired from my alterations business. I went through breast cancer treatment in 2020 but am thrilled to thank God for being cancer free for five years now ! God is so good! I am still doing some alterations but have just had to limit myself - can’t keep up with the BC (before cancer) schedule. Thank you to everyone who helped me have an awesome business for over 20 years! Feel free to check with me when you need alterations.

I’ve had my accounts for nearly 20 years and now FB is threatening to close my account! I have had this account Threads in Liberty for about 20 years before Elon Musk ever purchased Twitter and turned it into THREADS ie, Twitter. It would not be right for you to close my account after all my years of owning my business all these years. I have done nothing wrong!

THREADS - My Story

I’ve been sewing since I was about 8 years old. My Mother and both Grandmothers instilled within me the love of creating beautiful things with a few yards of fabric. I took every Home Economics class available in school, and after graduating continued with classes to develop more skills.

THREADS - Alterations & Embroidery was created out of a necessity to work. My Mother had AD, and I couldn’t leave her, so the only way I knew to make a living and take care of her was to fall back on what I knew best - sewing. It helped a lot that there wasn’t anyone locally in the business so I found a niche that suited me and my clients perfectly!

I started my business in Liberty in January, 2010. It has grown steadily and keeps growing. I love working on Bridal Gowns and Prom Dresses the most. I sincerely, love visiting with new customers and have made some great friends along the way.
