Sometimes your skin is dry because your moisturizer isn’t working. Moisturizers come in 3 types: lotions, body butters, & body/facial oils. Though these products have preservatives or antioxidants; When these products get old, expire, sit for prolonged time frames in excessive heat, or not being closed properly, they can irritate your skin and/or be less effective. Ways to know if your moisturizer went bad is if it smells like crayons, has visible mold, has visible unintentional separation, and if it is discolored. If any of these symptoms show up then STOP USING THE MOISTURIZER IMMEDIATELY!

These past couple months I have been slowly revamping my company. My original vision has been fleshed out more now. The mission is the same, “Affordable luxury for all”. That hasn’t changed & never will. The only thing that is really changing is our name. We are changing to a name that is easy to pronounce, remember, understand & one that embodies our current brand better. I’ve finally accepted that our current name is too ambiguous. Without me having to explain, most people don’t quite get what we do & offer. Over the next few months I will be finalizing the legal aspect of changing our name, as well as stocking up on new inventory to drop. I’m excited to show you all the progress! In the meantime, I will get back to posting (I was locked out of the socials for a bit) all kinds of beauty related content, current products/services available & general company news.

While external stressors and irritants are the main cause of dry skin, sometimes your genetics can play a small factor too. Because your body will naturally produce moisturizing properties to keep your skin from drying out, (which we call Sebum-the natural oil your skin produces) sometimes your genes can be coded in a way that reduces that production and predisposes you to having dry skin. This does not mean you are destined to have dry skin, but that you are just more likely to develop that affliction. If your family has a history of skin conditions, you are more likely to be afflicted with dry skin at any point in your life. With proper skincare, most people who are predisposed usually never develop the dry skin affliction.
