So many pageants this month. I want to remind those girls that didn’t come home with a crown or a placement, that each and every one of you have a crown inside you. Continue to let that crown sparkle and remember that a crown on your head is nice, but the crown inside you shines for everyone to see. 👑

My name is Shayla Jackson, Miss GA Teen USA 2020 & Miss High School America 2018. I was diagnosed with hearing loss when I was 3 years old. This news was life changing, however I never let my hearing impairment dictate what I was capable of achieving. This book shows that crowns on your head are not the only ones that exist and that all children have a hidden crown inside them.
