I also dabble with jewelry design when I get time. Hello, my name is Laura. I am a wife, mother, grandmother, sister, bff, yadda, yadda. What is more interesting is, I am also a spreadsheet nerd, a DIY computer tech, Google queen, rpg and mmorpg gamer. I love asian food, learning languages (that I am terrible at), love my kids, my cats, and my aquatic friends (or hostages, depending on how you loo

k at it). I love anything creative, I am easy going, slow to offence and love to help people. Which is why I love sewing for people. I have been sewing (and crocheting) for over 25 years, starting as a kid. I have been pattern designing for the last 12 yrs and offering sewing services for 15 years. Needless to say, I have experience in many areas of sewing and pattern making and yet there is still so much more I'd like to learn.

Our Story

Hello, my name is Laura (previously owner of "Custom Sewing and Design" which is now Sego Lily Design). Why the change? There is so much more that I have to offer than just sewing services. Personally I have several different types of skills and talents that I delve into. A Jack of a lot of trades, if you will. Sewing, crocheting, jewelry making are a few I am passionate about. Designing, Pattern making, and teaching are among the thing I would really LIKE to do. These are all things I do but not all fit under the "Custom Sewing" category. Sego Lily is meant to be an umbrella for different creative outlets and educational endeavors. I also hope to share what I know and resources I have to help others in their ventures. This page will hopefully be informational but I will also have sales and service offers and/or links to where you can find the products and patterns I have been working on for sale.
