ēćē²ę ā¢ you are not alone š¤
hellooo here is our newest apparel design part of our comeback drop! this one is a pretty personal piece (which is why it features my cat l*l). i made this in the middle of my break when i was deep in the trenches. hopefully the story behind this design can resonate with some of you.
ēćē²ę (ikigai) translates to āa reason for beingā.

one of the catalysts for my break were some big changes at my day job. i wonāt go into details (itās boring), but these changes put me at a crossroads of what to do with my life. although being a relatively minuscule dilemma, it pushed me off the edge and i started to think about why i was doing what i did and if it even made a difference to anyone at all. i pretty much spiraled downward from there and my poor mental state just prevented me from creating any art.
thatās when garf comes in. i was never a cat person, but garf is the only cat that can change my mind. although she ended up actually being an as***le, she has taught me so many lessons and despite it all she brings so much joy to my life. she rarely leaves my side and reminds me that she depends on me and i am not alone.
this is getting long winded, but i remembered that i created this shop to use my talents to bring joy or comfort to others. although itās just a shop, i like to see it as an extension of myself, which is why iām sharing this all with you.
we are all put on this earth with some kind of gift to bring to others. whether it be hard skills or soft skills, i believe there is something in everyone that is seen as special to someone else. it doesnāt have to be grand or save the world. no one can really tell you what it is, but i know you have it in you. your reason for being.
TLDR: iām not that depressed anymore and 2024 will be our year š¤
