It is possible to cut all the pieces from those odd-sized scraps in storage or stacking fabrics, and cut into small pieces in multiples of ten square inches in a matter of minutes.
Trim the tip if necessary so that it sews together perfectly every time. If necessary, use your favorite decorative stitches and threads to decorate the seams.
Tidy up the entire quilt or stitch it into a rough decorative border.
