DESIGNING FOR IMPACT: CIRCULAR FASHION SOLUTIONS FOR LA28
As Los Angeles prepares to welcome the world for the 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games, the fashion and creative industries have a unique opportunity to help shape a more sustainable and community-centered legacy.
Designing for Impact: Circular Fashion Solutions for LA28 brings together designers, sustainability leaders, and community partners who are actively building real-world solutions through circular design, education, and collaboration. This conversation will explore how fashion can move beyond awareness into action — from upcycling and material recovery to community workshops, brand partnerships, and workforce development.
Together, the panel will discuss how designers, organizations, brands, and communities can collaborate to build circular systems that extend beyond LA28 and into the future of fashion in Los Angeles and beyond. Highlighting how local innovation can contribute to global moments, Thread Haus and its partners demonstrate how sustainability can create both environmental and social impact.
Because sustainable impact isn’t created by one brand or one event — it’s built collectively.
