Mono'i oil is an anti-bacterial, highly-saturated oil rich in fatty acids that has been used for hundreds of years. The fatty acids found in mono'i oil contain anti-microbial properties that can protect against harmful fungi, as well as bacteria known to cause a number of skin infections, such as:

💧 cellulitis

💧 folliculitis

Using coconut oil-rich mono'i oil directly on the skin can help protect it against these conditions. Mono'i oil also acts as an anti-inflammatory that can reduce symptoms from known skin conditions, such as eczema and contact dermatitis.
