These “worry dolls” are small-sized dolls of Guatemalan origin. According to local tradition, the dolls are able to take our worries away: before going to sleep, we share in private with the doll our concerns. We also might want to say “Thank you.” Then, finally, we place the doll below our pillow, and she will take our worries away while we sleep.
