Happy Birthday to my beautiful Mother Calliope Nicholas Vastakis. She turned 78 years old today. Timeless, with a stunning voice, she battled multiple sclerosis and any adversity with her fabulous sense of humor and showmanship. She was a source of inspiration and joy even on her worst days. There were times that we locked horns most certainly, and yet we were blessed to be best friends as Mother and Daughter. She always told Tassie and me not to worry. “Remember, Life begins at 50 and so does the upkeep and the maintenance.” Indeed.

I love and miss you my Mommy. I am so grateful that you are safe and sound and on the daily say, “Hello My Naki,” while watching over me from Heaven.

I am after all Your Rosebud 🌹 👑
