Day 2 of ! Such an eye-opening and intellectually satisfying day full of a diverse spectrum of incredible perspectives, values, insights and wisdom. Some lessons I gathered were: 1) be prolific and not overanalyze 2) have fun 3) both big ideas and small details are important 4) make identities move 5) maximalism is (already) making a comeback and I am so ready for it! So grateful for and all their kindness and passion, as well as for the amazing graciousness of our industry and design community.

I learned about the need for spontaneity and breaking down borders, how to embrace difference, and that it’s never too late to learn new ways of expressing identity. We are very proud to announce that the website we designed for this past year is now live! It was wonderful collaborating with The Home Edit team to bring this amazing project to life.

We’ve actually been working with The Home Edit for over a year now helping them evolve and express their brand and visual identity, and this website is one of the key touchpoints for the brand.

Thank you to Clea, Joanna, Lauren and the entire THE team for being such incredible and inspiring clients and partners. Looking forward to all the great work we’ll do together soon!

A little sneak peak at some identity and packaging work released last year that we did for US- and Philippines-based 🥥 🌴

Our approach for this project was driven by the joyful celebration of food, family and the places we call home.

Fiesta Tropicalé embodied all of these things from their close, familial culture to their support of local farmers, schools and communities to their values which continue to strive for greater sustainability.

Signature groovy illustrative and tea time-inspired patterns + logo stickers + neon signage for .la and the wonderful . Last photo by . A big part of the strategy was this idea of subverting established preconceptions and we found inspiration in remixing traditional motifs like proper, dainty florals and colorful botanical drawings with surreal, dreamy psychedelia.
