🪲 Before you squash that brown shield-shaped bug on your window, take a closer look. Not every stink bug is the enemy.

The Brown Marmorated Stink Bug is an invasive species that damages many crops by piercing fruits and vegetables and causing internal damage. It can affect plants like tomatoes, peppers, apples, beans, and many others.

But there are also native predatory stink bugs that are valuable garden allies. These hunters attack caterpillars, beetle larvae, and other soft-bodied pests that damage your plants.

🔍 The easiest clue is the shoulders:

Smooth, rounded shoulders = likely plant-feeding stink bug (invasive types)
Sharp shoulder spines = often a predatory stink bug

⚠️ Identification matters. Many beneficial insects are killed because they look similar to pests.

🌿 Before removing a stink bug from your garden, take a second look. A small predator might be doing free pest control for you. 🐞

"Fall in Wisconsin" has a winter twin, and its name is "Snow Falling in Winter!

For those of you who follow me and my creations this one is the exact same pattern I used in "Fall in Wisconsin," which I posted a few weeks ago. This is also a Boyfriend style oversized pullover sweater (Note: this one has been spoken for). Even though this one has a new home it is going to I thought you might like to see this design in a different color selection.
